Wilburton Vision

Wilburton is one of the neighborhood's in Bellevue, Washington state and is where I live. Recently I took a survey of Wilburton residents to give input into what things are important to Wilburton as it grows "to help the City better understand how to best implement this vision. Your input will help inform future land use alternatives and policy development for the Wilburton study area."

Questions included input about the growing urban mixed-use housing in our community to enhance livability, promote healthy living and support economic vitality as well as support the needs of a diverse, growing population.

Areas covered in the multiple choice questionnaire include:

  • Diverse & Affordable Housing

  • Economic & Cultural Vitality

  • Multimodal & Connected Network

  • Publicly Accessible Parks, Plazas & Open Spaces

  • Natural Environment & Sustainability

It's worth getting involved if you live in Wilburton. Our neighborhood is part of beautiful Bellevue, The City in the Park and we need to keep it that way. Smart housing choices and smart planning will help keep the beauty of our neighborhood. Long-term residents should be especially involved who have seen the changes in growth in that past decades and we should have a voice in providing our preferences through letting the City know what is important to us as the city and our neighborhood grows.

Please take the time to complete the survey. It provides important information as residents take part in lending our voices to city planners and letting them know what is important to us. Your voice counts.
